The Seafood Alliance for Legality and Traceability promotes safer seafood practices around the world. They convene experts and provide important information to industry, governments and researchers about innovations in tracing fishing and seafood activities. They host events and maintain a global calendar of meetings in this field. With all of this activity, they needed a robust, well-organized site that could appeal to a diverse audience. We worked closely with them to determine their overarching needs for outreach, data management, and storytelling and came up with a site architecture and design that would grow with them. Site features include “Story Hub” – a way to share the latest via video, audio, web-posts and images. The “Dive Deeper” section provides a wealth of reports, research and other resources. And the “Seascape Map” is interactive, providing data points by region, around the world. We ensured the site was 508 compliant and aligned with USAID branding and marking guidelines. Check it out for yourself!
